** A staged refurbishment of the existing classroom buildings and a new learning wing · designed and documented to read as a single, coherent campus rather than a series of additions. **
** The brief was layered. Update the teaching environments to current pedagogical expectations, add new learning space, improve circulation and amenity, and resolve a set of accumulated compliance items from earlier extensions. All of it without disrupting the school year. **
** Working closely with the parish and the school leadership, we developed a concept that ties the new wing into the existing form through shared materials, roof geometry and a calm, warm palette. From the street, it reads as one considered building · not the layered addition that it is. **
** Council documentation was prepared in parallel with construction staging, allowing the builder to commence on the new wing while refurbishment of the existing buildings was sequenced across term breaks. BCA and disability compliance items were resolved in-house through the documentation phase. **
** The completed building has been in active use since 2023. **
